So Canada's threatening us with a bit of spring weather - at last! It's been a long winter, folks, and there's every chance we Montreal residents will lose our minds a little when the sunshine proper finally appears. Time to pack away those long johns and break out trousers of a slightly lighter fabric! Woo hoo! And it's just in time too, as this Saturday sees the marvellous happening that is Porchfest, where the residents of NDG in the west of the city lend out their front porches to musicians for an afternoon of al fresco tunesmithery. I'll be playing at noon, which is perfect as it means that I'm done early and can then wander about - perhaps with a cheeky lemonade - and check out all the other acts.
